Digestible data: Making research deliverables accessible and understandable

Room 3 | 9:00 am - 9:30 am | Tuesday, March 26, 2024

Data collection tools are advancing by leaps and bounds. Biometrics, AI and digital data collection platforms allow researchers to reach farther, look deeper and gather data faster than ever before. But while data-gathering tools seem straight out of the future, those digesting the insights do so with non-high-tech human senses. Human limitations affect how information is read, processed and understood. Findings need to be communicated in manageable, digestible formats that tell a story without overwhelming the reader or drowning them in details.

This session will provide attendees with guidelines that they can immediately start using to create deliverables designed with humans in mind. The result will be more enjoyable and comprehensible reports that are accessible, understandable, memorable and actionable.
