Great taste, less waste: How Grounded used SightX to help Brita in their fight against plastic waste

Room 4 | 10:30 am - 11:00 am | Thursday, July 20, 2023

2,000 plastic water bottles are used every second. And by 2050 there will be more plastic in our oceans than fish.

Brita® is on a mission to change that.

While many people try to actively avoid plastic packaging, it isn’t always so simple. In fact, consumers often see no other choice but to buy plastic water bottles while out and about when they don’t have their refillable on-hand.

But from this challenge arose an idea: a premium bottled water in an infinitely refillable and recyclable aluminum packaging, allowing consumers to ditch plastic even while on the go.

And Grounded was just the agency partner to bring this vision to life.

In this session, we’ll explore how Grounded used SightX to aid them in their quest to develop a premium packaging solution that stood out in a crowded premium bottled water market. One that would convince shoppers, primarily Millennials and Gen Z, to trade up to Brita®’s new offering – all within a matter of weeks.
