The art of decision-making: Practical techniques to lead in a data-driven world

Room 4 | 3:00 pm - 3:30 pm | Thursday, July 20, 2023

The next generation of leaders needs different skills to make decisions amid rising uncertainty. Today’s challenge is not the lack of information but the judgment to use it. This session will be led by the Faculty Directors from Columbia University who have been teaching practical techniques to make smarter decisions with incomplete information – a fresh approach called Quantitative Intuition™.

Key takeaways:

  1. Become proficient in interrogating data to quickly extract meaningful insights.
  2. Develop a set of pragmatic communication skills to change the dialogue with your stakeholders or clients.
  3. Convert data to action by pouring judgment into the analysis.
