The critical role of insights in achieving sustainability: A panel discussion

Room 3 | 9:45 am - 10:15 am | Tuesday, March 28, 2023

Climate change concerns have morphed from something far-off to something more imminent. The recently concluded COP27 Conference in Egypt marked a 30-year anniversary in the fight against climate change. A greater sense of urgency now exists with science establishing our window for effective climate action is rapidly closing.

In response, companies are seeking to adopt more sustainable business practices, greener supply chains and products that are manufactured to have a smaller environmental footprint. The emergence of ESG goals led by sustainability officers and new platforms of sustainability metrics are changing the face of how companies plan for and make business decisions.

This is changing the insight needs and business relationships for impact across the insight industry. Companies must not only strive to achieve a financial bottom line, but a sustainable one as well. Consumer demand is also driving change. Awareness and fears about climate change are motivating new consumer behaviors. This increased rate of change has created new challenges for companies to know how best to innovate and market products. To meet the challenges of sustainability, the insights industry is set to play a critical role in this fight.

Join us for an important panel discussion into how sustainability is changing insights needs from the perspectives of client-side leaders in the consumer packaged goods industry.
