Survey says! How to make reporting more experiential (Game show, anyone?)

In 2023, following extensive segmentation research, a client asked Wonderlust Collective to create a deliverable that went beyond a traditional PPT presentation. The research yielded great, nuanced insights but the worry was their team would not be able to cement the segment differences into their memories.

Wonderlust Collective created a customized game show experience for our client’s team of 80 participants in their world headquarters. Our team was able to transform one of their boring conference rooms into a ’70s-inspired game show complete with live music, prizes and an interactive game board featuring 100+ questions designed to make the learnings stickier and more memorable. Excitement for the event was palpable following the announcement. The client participants formed their own teams as well as study groups in anticipation of the event, resulting in a deeper understanding of their consumer and a memorable afternoon bonding with their colleagues.

In this presentation, we provide background insight into when you might consider proposing a game show deliverable, considerations and ways to execute and inspiration in the form of a live demonstration of a game show prototype built specifically for The Quirk’s Event.

Through this immersive experience, we will demonstrate the power of gamification as a tool that can be implemented into research methodologies and deliverables as well as how to tap into creative outlets to change the way we communicate insights.
